ATA filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code on April 2, 2008. The petition was filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana, in the Indianapolis division.

ATA also operated service to Hawaii from Oakland, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Corporate Ownership: ATA Airlines, Inc. is a subsidiary of Global Aero Logistics Inc.
